Every once in awhile, the verbal abuse comes flooding back.
This is when I pray for forgivness for my sanity.To dwell would be keeping me in that victim roll. I don’t ever want to go back to that pit.

I am not in a very good space right now. I had to put my precious cat Sir Sox THE Cat down on Friday May 17, due to health reasons.

This has been a very difficult week, sometimes doing what our Lord ask turns out to be harder than we ever thought, such as removing all my husbands pictures, 10 1/2 years since his death is a long time, but in ways it was just yesterday. Praying for a Mr Right for some time now and taking new steps as The Lord leads, closing this book to start a new one has been quite the adventure. This post has touched my heart in a special way, thank you for your ministry.

Thank you for this…. I think what I struggle with is not knowing [which] loved one I will be needing to confront. A hard situation, but being reminded to refrain from hurting is essential to clearly communicate the hurt me and my boys have endured at someone’s hand. I believe my hurt is evident, absent words at this point anyways. I am trusting God to reveal who is behind our pain.

I can relate to this. I’m very stubborn. After crashing, I realize I need more. I pray. I devote myself, at least I tell myself I do. I move on. A few weeks later I start the decent again and I say to myself “This is not it.” I will continue to seek.

Do you realize the quote you used – from Michael G. Cioppa – is from a convicted con artist who has done prison time? He impersonates a Dr. on LinkedIn. He has two other known alias’ (Mike Brandino & Jamie Rinkelsen) that he uses on Youtube trying to scam people there. Not exactly the godly type you’d want to reference to get your point across. Google Dr. Mike Cioppa see for yourself.

Wow. That one got me. You saw to the heart of what makes the sheep lose the shepherd. Christ is the husbandman and we are the sheep. I appreciate someone actually understanding why I left church, but kept Jesus.

Aren’t you glad you won’t have to meet our Lord as one who knowingly led others into the paths of destruction? What an awful act to have on one’s heart! Remember the verse from Matthew 7 that says “Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter.” It is the fruit of the spirit that defines us as Christians. And what is the will of the Father? Some quote the Scripture from Micah: Walk justly and show mercy; but I like the command Jesus gave: Love the Lord your God … and love your neighbor as yourself. We are to be servants—humble servants.
