Refer to STEP 3: I accepted that the responsibility for getting back on track was mine and no one else’s.
I’ve stated consistently I believe the Obama’s are victims of their narcissistic mentor, Reverend Jeremiah Wright. As such, they need and deserve all the love, care, and support we can provide them. When they realize how badly they’ve been led astray by Wright’s perverted gospel, they’ll experience debilitating emotional pain. Until they do so, however, it would be unwise to assume they believe anything substantially different than what he believes. His voice, not the Lord’s, is the one in their heads.
Most of Wright’s beliefs are merely distasteful, but there’s one that crosses the line and, if shared by Obama, makes it impossible to support his candidacy—the abandonment of our strategic alliance with Israel in favor of Islamic nations. Obama maintains that he supports Israel, but being a parishioner at Wright’s church for twenty years makes me a Missourian—show me.
Until proven otherwise, any intelligent person would have to assume Obama shares Wright’s infatuation with Islam. Wright gave Farrakhan a lifetime achievement award. Farrakhan is a black racist, who prays to Allah—not the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. What kind of Christian leader would give a militant Muslim an award like this? What do they have in common other than hatred of America, hatred of white people, and hatred of Israel?
This has to be taken seriously. Farrakhan supports Islamic nations over Israel. When you look at it from this perspective—when you connect the dots, Farrakhan and Wright have eerily similar worldviews. What makes Obama any different?
We know the worldview of George W. Bush. He believes God blesses nations who support Israel and curses those who do not. Reagan held the same perspective, as did George Herbert Walker Bush and, to a lesser degree, even Bill Clinton. The last President who favored Islamic nations over Israel was Carter, and his favoritism was only slight. Any change in our strategic policy in the Middle East, which the Farrakhan/Wright worldview endorses, would destabilize the region and make our strongest Middle East ally, Israel, vulnerable. As a Christian, I believe this would be displeasing to God, and He would not bless our nation like He has.
My question is this: Why hasn’t anyone from the mainstream press asked about the philosophical link between Wright and Farrakhan, and how Obama is right in there with them? And what about the Jewish community, which is strong in America? Don’t they realize the implications of an Obama Presidency for Israel?
If what I’ve written is correct, and I believe it is, America cannot afford an Obama Presidency.
As always, I welcome your comments.
